We are a group of trained certified skywarn storm spotters. As a group of volunteers, it's our job t help protect you, your family, and your property. During severe weather events, we monitor discussions by the National Weather Service local Weather Field Office, as well as, the Storm Prediction Center. Once our area has a threat of severe weather we will monitor and if needed go out into the field and provide updates via our Facebook and Twitter Feeds.
Our website also provide various information that includes radar, watches and warnings, etc. Please bear with us and we are still updating our website.
Some of the biggest changes is our ability to monitor severe weather threats and how we provide that information and data to you. We have recently changed to a weather product that allows us to use pinpoint Doppler radar. We are now able to not only tell you but show you down to when and where severe weather will hit. Your safety is paramount! We have enhanced our tools and products to provide the same, if not enhanced features, of that of television and radio.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or interested in learning how to prepare a home & business severe weather plan.
